Who We Are

An independent trading house built around physical oil.

Stratex Oil & Gas moves crude, middle distillates, fuel oil, and marine bunkers between producers, refiners, and end-users. We write spot and term contracts that match supply to demand across the corridors we know.

Two offices, one book. Washington covers regulatory work and capital markets. Houston runs the trading desk and Gulf Coast logistics.

What We Do

Integrated trading & supply.

Trading, logistics, and execution all sit under one roof. That keeps the answer on any cargo one desk away.

01 / 04

Crude Oil & Refined Products

Spot and term contracts for crude oil, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and residual fuel oil. We source from established producers and refiners, structuring flexible delivery terms around customer demand cycles.

02 / 04

Marine Fuels & Bunkering

Supply of VLSFO, MGO, and HSFO to vessel operators across the U.S. Gulf Coast, Caribbean, and key international bunkering hubs. Delivery via barge, STS transfer, and terminal offloading.

03 / 04

Logistics & Freight Coordination

We run the physical chain in-house. Vessel operators, terminal operators, and inspection agencies we have worked with for years keep cargo intact and delivery on the stem.

Custom hedging and pricing structures to manage exposure across crude differentials, product cracks, and freight volatility. Commercial terms aligned with the counterparty's underlying risk profile.

Our Approach
Built for the Physical Market

Physical barrels first.

The desk exists to move physical barrels. Paper positions hedge them, nothing more. Stratex Oil & Gas was started by energy traders and logistics operators who spent years running crude and product flows before there was a firm to run them through. The risk framework, credit discipline, and operational control reflect that background.

What we commit to:

  • Transparent pricing, documentation, and cargo handling
  • Reliable delivery windows, quality, and quantity
  • Working relationships with producers, refiners, and end-users who value clean execution
Quality & Compliance

International standards on every cargo.

Specifications

ASTM, EN, and ISO standards. Certificate of Analysis (COA) provided on all cargoes.

Safety Documentation

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) available for all products supplied.

Cargo Handling

Controlled heating, inerting, and strict cargo management procedures throughout transit.

Independent Inspection

Third-party surveyors for quantity and quality verification at load and discharge.
